Im doing something worth while finally. I picked up a 351w from a friend that has been rebuilt but then broke a ring and busted the piston. I took the piston to a engine builder here and he said it was definently from detonation. SO ima rebuild the motor and stick it in the fox. Im like way stoked about this. What do yall think?

also need a distibutor. And depending what year your 302 is, will need fly wheel and balancer if not on the 351 you got.

Nothing much.. Just wishing I could get time to finish up the coupe project.. If I can just get the body work done and it painted, I will be home free... All it will need it assembled then..

well started over since selling my 86. The 84 is just a rolling shell at this moment. I did smooth out the aprons and firewall in the engine bay. Also had to put a new floorpan in it.

Can check out the pics in my signature..

Gonna love the 351 based motor.. We just put a 393 in a friends car.. All I can is "DAMN!!" With an built AOD it made 560 ft#'s of torque, and 408 rwhp...

A guy i know told me about a guy whom he knows has a fresh 306 short block with forged pistons for $300. Ima go check it out and probably buy it. My car should run good with it and the mods ive got. I also plan to go ahead and change my gears from 3.08 to 3.73. I'll keep yall posted on what i do.
