EVENTS
Join us for a fun day of racing at the second annual Carmax Super Showdown 2. Where winners earn bragging rights and losers get the dubious honor of being slug of the day.
Last years winner Tony “Rabbits foot” Staples defends his title. This year’s event will be highlighted by three categories of competition allowing everyone a chance to be a winner. But only one can be the champ. The days racing events will go as follows.

§ Time runs only ( 3 runs by each racer to get there dial in)
§ Fastest ET ( Prize for the fastest time slip of the day)
§ Best reaction time ( Prize for the quickest react time)
§ Top Eliminator ( Prize for being the last racer standing in bracket racing)
§ Grudge Racing ( This ones for bragging rights, time to put up or shut up)

PRIZE FUND
A cash purse will be given out for three winning categories. All funds are based on a 20 dollar entry fee and a minimum of 10 participants. Final payouts could be higher or lower based on the number of entries. In the event of cancellation all entry fees will be refunded.

this is the text from the rough draft of our flyer that is being passed around. everyone is welcome to attend and participate if they want to. like i said before "slow" cars only. we don't want someone with a 10 sec car coming down and shooting all the fish in the barrell. they would leave with 2/3 of all the prize money and that wouldn't be fair to the rest of us. in the event of an unlikely tie it will be up to the drivers to either split the pot or make another tie breaker pass. this is still in the early stages and will be done during test and tune we cannot afford to buy the track for the day.

I wish I could take my car but we are still in the TNT process now in hopes of having it ready for the GAFBA shootout ON 3/19.

Even if she's not ready for the track, I hope to at least drive her there!

Robin,
Your car would be ready by the time we do our track rental though right? Couple months out.

Look at the two stickys in the top of this section. I am still working with John verifying a date. As soon as I get it I will let everyone know. I just need to get and idea of how many people are willing to come.
